Safe behavior in winter

Есть результаты с переводомWith the onset of the autumn-winter period, the issue of preventing injuries and fires becomes especially acute. This is primarily due to the neglect of the requirements of traffic rules, regulations on labor protection, electrical and fire safety on the part of officials and employees of the organization.

With the onset of the autumn-winter period and the reduction of daylight hours, the number of road traffic accidents increases.

Therefore, we draw your attention to the fact that the use of reflective elements (flickers) in the dark, especially in low light conditions, is a mandatory requirement and applies to everyone, regardless of location.

In the autumn-winter period, the main causes of fires are:

• violation of the technological process, rules of operation of heat-generating units and devices;

• violation of the rules for operating electrical networks and electrical equipment;

• violation of fire safety rules during work;

• careless handling of fire by unidentified persons and arson.

In order to prevent fires and in connection with the onset of the heating season, it is necessary:

• prohibit the operation of buildings and premises with faulty electrical wiring;

• carry out hot work strictly observing fire safety rules;

• carry out insulation of water pipelines;

• prohibit heating of pipes with open fire;

• prohibit the use of homemade heating devices;

• do not allow unauthorized persons to be in production areas;

• check the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment in production premises and their configuration.

Winter is not only about fluffy snow, fun children's games in the yard, and winter sports. This is also changeable weather: sometimes snowfall, sometimes thaw, sometimes snowstorm, sometimes ice. And all this often contributes to ice injuries.

To reduce the risk of falling, you need to follow a number of rules:

• it is advisable to wear shoes with flat soles or low square heels;

• you can attach a strip of sandpaper or a regular adhesive plaster to the sole of your shoe; shoes with grooved soles are better;

• you need to walk in icy conditions in a special way - as if sliding a little, as if on small skis, stepping on the entire sole;

• look carefully at your feet (in a hurry, you may not even notice open ice);

• It is advisable to walk as slowly as possible. It is important to remember: the faster you walk, the greater the risk of falling;

• girls should not wear high, thin heels during icy conditions;

• if you wear a long coat or fur coat, be sure to lift the hem of your clothing when getting out of a vehicle or going down stairs;

• do not walk very close to the walls of buildings - an icicle or a piece of hardened snow may fall from the roof;

• it is advisable to avoid wearing bags with long handles, which, hanging from the shoulder, move the center of gravity and pull down. Hoods are also dangerous in terms of injury, as they narrow the view and make it difficult to timely assess the situation on the road when crossing the street;

• you need to be especially careful on the porches of shops, housing services, pharmacies and many other organizations in the construction of which tiles were used.
