Road safety: Don't be invisible in the dark!

The "Zero Injury Week" is being held in the Republic of Belarus from September 23 to 27, 2024.

In order to ensure the safety and health of employees, on September 23, a meeting was held between employees of the Polotsk CCMS and traffic police inspector OGAI Novopolotsk GOVD Bordasova T.S. on the topic "Don't be invisible – light up in the dark."

Employees of our company took an active part in discussing topical issues of road safety!
The inspector reminded everyone present how important it is to be visible on the road, especially at night. Unfortunately, many drivers and pedestrians do not always follow simple rules, which can lead to tragic consequences.

Highlights of the meeting:
 1. Visibility Rules: We have learned that the use of retroreflective elements on clothing and accessories significantly increases our visibility on the road. This is especially true for pedestrians who may be at risk.
 2. Safe behavior on the road: The Inspector stressed that it is important to always monitor the traffic situation, follow the rules of the road and not be distracted by mobile devices.
 3. Drivers' responsibilities: All drivers were reminded of the need to turn on their headlights at night and in poor visibility conditions, as well as the importance of maintaining a safe speed.
 4. Discussion of cases: We have reviewed several examples from practice where a violation of safety rules has led to accidents. It was a good reminder that safety is the responsibility of each of us.

Safety is not just a rule, it is our shared responsibility. Let's do our best to ensure the safety of ourselves and others on the road. Remember: don't be invisible in the dark!

Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
