On June 16, a lecture on "Cybersecurity prevention" was held at RUE Polotsk CSMS, conducted by the head of the Penal Enforcement inspectorate of the Novopolotsk Police Department, Major of Militia I.V. Polyakovich.

The lecture discussed the main types of Internet threats and new, rapidly developing ways of committing cybercrimes. Examples of recent incidents in our region, updated and new fraudulent schemes of deception are given.

Various methods of countering cybercrimes, as well as possible measures to protect citizens of our region, were discussed in the dialogue format.
