The EEC Council approved the technical regulations for poultry meat.

The technical regulation "On the safety of poultry meat and products of its processing" regulates the mandatory requirements for these products.

  • Establishes uniform terminology, identification rules, safety requirements, requirements for the processes of production, storage, transportation, sale, disposal and labeling.
  • Conformity assessment is established in the forms of veterinary and sanitary examination of poultry slaughter products, declaration of conformity of poultry meat products (including semi-finished products), state registration of products for baby food.
