On October 12, the Polotsk CSMS hosted a Unified Day of Inspection of Blood Pressure Devices, during which the performance of individual tonometers was assessed.
The functionality of blood pressure meters was checked free of charge. This is a great help for pensioners who, due to their age, need to monitor their blood pressure, and confirmation of the accuracy of the device guarantees its correct operation.
More than 70 people took part in the event! 82 devices were provided for “testing,” including both automatic and mechanical devices.
The assessment of the performance and metrological characteristics of household tonometers was carried out by leading engineer Sergey Aleksandrovich Moskalkov and 1st category engineer Vladimir Viktorovich Ulsky of the department of electromagnetic and thermal measurements.
The vast majority of tonometers showed correct operation, only 2 turned out to be faulty.
All applicants were given recommendations on the use of blood pressure measuring devices. The visitors were grateful and interested in further events of this kind!
